K2 mode enabled by default seems a bit risky.

and the compose multiplatform plugin isn’t even compatible with it. And the first class I opened already doesn’t work (doesn’t resolve a class from a common source set in a multiplatform module). Agree it doesn’t seem ready to be enabled by default, but maybe in smaller projects it’s working well

Luckily the setting to turn it off has persisted across the update for us.
