Do Compose BasicAlertDialogs not show a background scrim anymore?

Looks like it shows on some devices and not others.
On a Pixel 5 emulator on API 34 my dialogs show without a scrim. Running the same code on a Pixel 8 Pro emulator on API 35 the background scrim displays.

There used to be a bug with emulators about this. It may still be there. Try a physical device if possible to properly check the behavior of this
