Apple rejected a compose multiplatform app Rijksmuseum from the app store saying "App Store apps should use native iOS buttons". Has anyone experienced this before? Official reply in thread.

Guideline 4.0 - Design We noticed an issue in your app that contributes to a lower-quality user experience than App Store users expect: - Your app did not include iOS features. App Store apps should use native iOS buttons and include iOS features other than just web views, push notifications, or sharing. Since App Store users expect apps to be simple, refined, and easy to use, we want to call your attention to this design issue so you can make the appropriate changes. Next Steps Please revise your app to address all instances of the issue identified above.

Somewhere I read that you just have to explain them that you are using a multi-platform framework and thus cannot use native iOS buttons. If that shouldn’t work maybe this cupertino-adaptive is a workaround. Keep us informed what worked for you.

I published several flutter apps and never had such issues with Apple. That sounds very arbitrary to me https://apps.apple.com/de/developer/nelle-bendlage-it/id1653740843

After couple rejections and some explaining they accepted it.
