Unless I'm missing it, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated channel for discussing Kotlin/JVM. KMP has #C3PQML5NU, Kotlin/Native has #C3SGXARS6, and Kotlin/JS has #C0B8L3U69. Thoughts on creating a #jvm or #kotlin-jvm channel? Example topics might be the impact of Project Valhalla and Project Loom on Kotlin, Kotlin support of the Java Platform Module System, issues specific to running on the JVM, etc.

Actually, all channels you mentioned are about KMP. :-D

JVM is way more than server of course.

I think of #C0B8RC352 similar to #C0N62K431, with neither necessarily being specific to Kotlin/JVM. You could write servers or games with Kotlin/Native, Kotlin/JS, etc. (I forgot to include Kotlin/Wasm and #CDFP59223 in my initial post.)
I think the focus of #CQ3GFJTU1 is the Kotlin grammar. I wouldn't intuitively think to post Kotlin/JVM topics there.
It seems us regular users can no longer create channels anymore (which is probably sensible). @Alina Dolgikh [JB], Would you be open to creating a #jvm channel for discussion of Kotlin/JVM-specific topics?
a
Hi @ianbrandt! Sorry for the delayed reply. Let's create it. #jvm sounds good to me, as it's consistent to other similar types of channels

Hi Alina, Much appreciated! I believe we'll need you to do the honors, as I no longer seem to have the permissions required to create channels. I'll look forward to it.

Yes, I'll create the channel. May I please ask you to add the description then?

Just to tie off this thread, here's a convenient link to the new channel: #C07SN33NTFA.
