I saw the blog post about kotlin scripting, and was curious what it's impacts are. It's future seems far more vague than before.

i.e. I was planning on using Kotlin-playground for an internal project, which I know uses kotlin scripting. Is the kotlin-playground use case of Kotlin scripting dead, or alive?

kotlin-playground uses kotlin-compile-server which uses the normal compiler, not scripting
