Following a kotlin android tutorial and it says to set Updates to Stable Chanel in Android Studio but The options have changed.  They said it should be the first image but it is the second one.  Had a look around but could not find where the setting changed to.  Hope it's OK to ask here.

looks like a pretty old screenshot of AS. I think AS now only looks at stable releases for updates by default

Thanks, Thought that was the case, I'm curious how you would set it to other branches, although can't see me wanting that for a while as i'm new to all this.

you cant. preview and canary builds are separate applications that you need to download and install
