I’d think #ktor would be the closest to a ‘standard’ for Kotlin as a whole since it’s first-party.

You can also use http4k client or some other libs, as you prefer: https://kotlin.libhunt.com/categories/5616-http-clients
Unfortunately there’s no HTTP client in the standard library.
