So I was doing some warm-up before Dec01 by finishing some old puzzles from previous editions, before my first AoC in 2019. And just read and downloaded my input for 2018 day 9. I haven't coded anything yet. Just a template kt file. Then I opened the input file and by total misclick pressed "W". This is what happened. And yes, that was the correct answer... I'm sorry Copilot, we need to part ways for the next month. I know this happened because GH is full of AoC solutions from before copilot's cutout date and it won't be so eager to help with the new puzzles, but still it kinda sucks the fun away, doesn't it.

Oh this is just soooo infuriating.

Yeah I noticed the same when solving previous years, so I disable Copilot when working on older problems. But from my experience last year, on new problems it's just the normal level of helpful.

Put it to sleep! 😄
I also have to disable Copilot when doing live coding during the innovation time at my work, as it's constantly disrupting what I want to try and explain to the audience. It constantly gets in the way!
