As the US finally catches up with the rest of the world and approaches its own entry into 2025, I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

I don't really have a good sense of how many people are actively here -- some people might have gone inactive over the years, while others might just be lurking. What I do know is I am grateful for everyone who has subscribed to this channel, You give me motivation and purpose.

2025 is the year I hope we get finally get Kobweb to 1.0. We should have a good release coming out in a week or so (thanks to some interesting bug reports recently made by new users). I also really hope our docs site will follow not too long after (that thing has been punted for over a year now!).

I would also like to finally make time to continue work on the Kobweb IntelliJ Plugin again. Many people don't even know it exists, because I don't talk about it at all at this point, since it is still in a foundational stage at this point (thanks to Nxllpointer's original work). That said, I don't think it will take that much work to make it a super powerful addition when doing Kobweb development.

Beyond that, well -- it's very hard to predict the future of everything right now. It is a weird time, and sometimes, I feel like it would be easy to get swept away in the anxiety of it all. I don't have any answers. But I do know that I like being here, so I'll keep showing up, day by day. For the rest of you in here too, thanks again!! I hope everything works out well for all of you in the coming year. 🎉 🎆 🎇
