What gradle plugin do you use/recommend for version numbers? I used

me.qoomon.git-versioning

so far, but it looks like that this is no longer maintained. I search for a replacement.

I have used the axion-release-plugin in a past project and was happy with it. It also uses Git tags to maintain versions and it is still maintained
