has anyone experienced an issue with Intellij 20243.3.2 where it takes 2 runs on Android to actually see your changes show up?

It’s a known issue reported periodically for Android Studio. Not sure how it maps to IntelliJ but there’s <https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/387656875> for example

Thanks, good to know it's not just us. Hopefully  this gets resolved soon it adds a lot of frustration
