I might be missing something, but in a lazy grid, you can either have varying width (using normal grid) or varying height (using staggered grid) but not both, right? You can only chose either FullLine or SingleLane in staggered grid span, and an item can't cover multiple lines in a normal grid

Yeah that not possible to do with the built-in lazy grids; you'll have to implement a custom lazy layout for that.

That's what I figured but it sounds like a bunch of work that I can't really invest into. An alternative would be, in a normal grid, to have "top part" and "bottom part" items and place them correctly in the list so that they connect. It's one way to have double-height items
