Hello everyone, I’m Vaibhav Raj, an undergrad with over 4 years of Kotlin experience across domains like Android, Cli, KotlinJS(yes you heard it right😄), and backend development. I’m passionate about open-source software and have contributed to various Kotlin projects, including publishing Android,KMM libraries and founding a FOSS app with 180k+ downloads, 700+ GitHub stars, and a thriving 15k-member community.
I’m excited to contribute to the Kotlin Language Server (LSP) project for GSoC 2025. As someone who uses editors like Neovim, I deeply understand the need for a robust, community-driven LSP to enhance productivity across diverse environments. I’m thrilled to see JetBrains and the Kotlin Foundation supporting this effort, and I’d love to help
Before drafting my proposal, I’d appreciate any insights beyond the Kotlin Foundation website—particularly around prioritized features like go-to-definition, hover support, or others you’d like to see. Thank you, and I look forward to collaborating with this amazing community
