Hey! Was just wondering what's the status of Component Model in `wasmWasi`.
Do you think we'll see it implemented this year?

There is a demo project using a PoC version of toolchain <http://kotl.in/wasm-cm-demo|kotl.in/wasm-cm-demo>. (Which probably you have seen.)

Right now we are highly focused on stabilizing `wasm-js` target.
Hope to be able to allocate some more time on `wasm-wasi` target later this year.

Do you need it for WASI 0.2+ or for something else?

I don't need it right now, but since 0.3 delivers async support it's a major milestone and a big problem solved. I guess from now on adoption will go up and it would be interesting to finally put it to use.

But I like that you're focusing on wasm+js, so don't worry too much about what I say.
