Hi, the plugin seems to work really well, however, I'm a bit concerned about the need for authorization. It seems strange to me, that a plugin, which is analyzing my code base locally, needs an account to function.

Thanks for the feedback. The account is needed to help see how much people are using it and help improve it (anonymous analytics). The other point is to let you connect services (like firebase). The local configuration features can run offline, once you have activated it.

It doesn't sound right to me that you need accounts with people's first and last names to implement anonymous analytics. That doesn't seem anonymous.

I see your point but here we try to engage on new dev tools products, and anonymous login is not enough. We try to bring value with those new tools
