Hello everyone, I’m Rishav, and I’m interested in the “Clean and actionable reporting for Gradle code quality plugins for Kotlin” project for GSoC 2025. I have experience with Java (primarily Spring and Spring Boot) and Kotlin, and I’ve been working with Jetpack Compose for the past 1.5 years. Recently, I’ve also started exploring Compose Multiplatform. Currently, my plan is to explore the Ktlint codebase to understand its reporting mechanisms and see how we can integrate the Gradle Problems API for better error reporting. Thanks

Hi @Oleg Nenashev I got busy in my mid-semester exams also, I had to present my paper at conference. So I got diverted from crafting my proposal for project, I just wanted to ask is it fine to submit proposal just before deadline, would it affect the chance of getting selected and regarding the project itself for now I am trying to parse the the output produce by ktlint or detekt and then direct it to the Problem's api is this approach fine?? I know this must be very basic question but I never worked with gradle plugins before so any assistance would be great for me.
