Hello everyone,

I'm currently preparing my proposal for the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025, focusing on the "<https://kotlinlang.org/docs/gsoc-2025.html#gradle-convention-plugin-for-developing-jenkins-plugins-easy-to-hard-90-hrs-to-350-hrs|Gradle Convention Plugin for Developing Jenkins Plugins>" project. This initiative aims to enhance the development experience for Jenkins plugins using Gradle by updating the existing Gradle JPI plugin and achieving feature parity with the Maven flow. 

My background includes experience with Kotlin, Gradle, and Jenkins, and I'm eager to apply and expand my skills through this project.

Do we have seperate channel for this project?

Hi. No separate channel for it yet. There was one on Jenkins' Gitter, but I am pretty sure it is no longer active

 Just wondering does this project have a good chance of moving forward or has interest in it died down? I’d love to work on it but I want to make sure it’s worth pursuing.
