Hi Folks! A new, big release of Signum is ready. Why is it big? It finally includes symmetric encryption and HMAC support!, While this is really awesome, some long-overdue cleanups resulted in breaking changes, also affecting the hierarchy of COSE/JOSE algorithm definitions. Still, we're approaching baseline feature completeness (= Supreme 1.0.0), after which we do not expect breaking changes anymore. We really want to get Supreme 1.0.0. right! Hence, any feedback is welcome! We hope that the introduction of symmetric encryption makes Signum usable in more scenarios even before reaching baseline feature completeness, so we can release 1.0.0 based also on external feedback to deliver a stable API.

Thanks to input from @Oleg Yukhnevich, the readme and the docs now also contain a section outlining the differences between Signum and cryptography-kotlin. This will hopefully make it clear which library is more suitable for different scenarios.
