I've tested positive for covid today, so I'll miss the speakers' dinner (and likely my lightning talk and the rest of the conference, unless I'm miraculously negative by Friday)
As I’m isolating in my Copenhagen hotel room, is it at all possible to do my lightning talk remotely (like, over a zoom call or something)?
And will I be able to watch any of the sessions over a live stream?

Sorry to hear that!
We’ll check with the technical support whether it will be possible to give a talk remotely.
Regarding streaming, we stream all sessions from the keynote hall, starting with the Opening Keynote on May 22 at 9:00. The link is on the main page: https://kotlinconf.com/

Okay, thank you! Let me know what they say
Seems like the livestream schedule only includes the keynote room stuff. Most of the sessions I was planning to attend are actually in the other rooms. Are those not available by live stream?

Hi @Sargun Vohra, Unfortunately, giving the talk remotely is not possible.
Regarding the videos: we only stream the talks from the keynote hall, but we’re recording all regular and lightning talks and will publish them on our YouTube channel in a couple of months after the conference.

Okay, thanks for looking into it. I guess I’ll apply again next year

An idea, if I record myself giving the lightning talk, could it be included with the YouTube uploads of all the other talks?
