I've updated to Android Studio Narwhal Feature Drop 2025.1.2 Canary 2 (what a mouthful :smile: ) with the new KMP plugin (0.9-251.25410-AS-65). The project syncs and builds, but I've got a constant task `Generating Xcode files...` going on. Cancelling it just restarts it a second later and I can't see any file changes (at least none, that aren't gitignored). Does it just take very long the first time or is this a bug?

The previous plugin had better performance and more stable. I think, this new release is out too early.

Looks like it just takes a long time. At least now it's gone, not sure how long exactly the task was running, but definitely more than 15-20 minutes

I have observed the same with the new Plugin in IntelliJ on a Mac. It just takes very long but finally it was gone.

If you happen to have a project that you can share (publicly, or with JetBrains only in a YouTrack issue), it'd be great to open an issue so that we can have a look at the specific case.
