Is there any eta for wasm (and compose-web) support yet?

It depends on what you call "support" 🙂 For now, hard to tell, it's kinda vague, no guarantee, but we may start doing something in this direction by the end of this year When I say start doing something, I mean that by the end of the year, something will actually be implemented, hard to say what exactly though And we would be grateful if you could share some details on how exactly you plan to use wasm support

For now I'm not looking for anything advanced. Just being able to build a wasm compose web app alongside my desktop and android clients would be perfect

So, do I get it correctly, having the ability to build just a wasm module would be fine, for the start (like you gonna need to deal with all of this js stuff yourself, like webpack, etc)?

Not ideal, but would be good to start with as I don't plan on exporting anything to js for interop so webpack setup should be fairly simple.

i.e. the app is kotlin-only
Would be nice to have wasm test support too, but definitely not a blocker

Yeah, we think about unlocking or at least not preventing trying. Thanks for the feedback I'm not the right person to provide an eta, but I can say that in this variant, we can deliver something tangible soon-ish
