Why are there no Kotlin certificates?

The only thing you can get is a certified Kotlin trainer.

I always wanted to become a SCJP, but didn’t find the time to take 5he test after studying the exam books. And now suddenly I’m no longer interested in becoming certified for Java. 😉

I’d like to be a JetBrains certified Kotlin professional should they ever put up that certification route.

freecodecamp did C# with Microsoft. they could do same for Kotlin.
