I personally don't like those chunky separators between areas. They feel off, and completely diverge from the history of IDEA's themes.

We aim to bring the JetBrains IDEs closer in line with the design of our other products, such as Toolbox and Fleet, for a more consistent experience across the JetBrains ecosystem.

I really wish they wouldn't. Fleet really didn't do it for me.

Interesting, I really liked the island theme of Fleet

It's not bad, but I don't want IJ to lose its identity and become a Fleet clone.
