At KotlinConf 2025, Jeffrey Van Gogh (from Google) announced that Firebase SDK for Kotlin Multiplatform is going to be one of the projects of <https://opensource.googleblog.com/2025/05/gsoc-2025-we-have-our-contributors.html|Google Summer of Code 2025> (it says it <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4f5PyNmGLo&amp;t=1940s|here at minute 32:30>).
Does anybody have any updates?

I can only find one project mentioning Firebase, and it's very specific about Gemini:
