Hi all! During the mid-term evaluations, we will do a live stream to report on the projects and their progress. Each contributor will have 10 minutes to present on the project (summary, delivered changes, plans for the next phase + mainly live demos), and then we will have 5 minutes for Q&A and mentor feedback.

While this presentation is not mandatory (discuss it with your mentors), everyone is welcome to join. Each contributor is welcome to either present live or submit a prerecorded video, and we would love to have mentors on the call, too.

To summarize the discussions, 4 contributors opted to doing a prerecorded presentation. I also have some problem with streaming tools - was unable to get the new ones before my vacation. We will still do the stream, but I am nit 100% about doing it on Friday

@alaje I would suggest doing an informal meeting with demos & recording anyway, and then we can process the recording and publish for wider audience

Since the stream on Friday isn't confirmed, when would you suggest we hold the informal meeting? And by "informal," do you mean a group session (that will still be organized by you), or should I record something on my own? @Oleg Nenashev

The invite is out. To summarize changes:
• We do an informal meeting, where every contributor is welcome to do a demo or present
• We are NOT streaming live - it is just a private meeting for GSoC contributors and mentors. Feel free to invite other project stakeholders though
• For the videos submitted before tomorrow 8am UTC, I will also add them to the meeting (unless you want to present lie there - still recommended for practice)
• We will prioess the recordings and publish them later. It is optional, but it is a good addition to your final submissions and community outreach
