Failure to build iOS from scratch using Android Studio on Mac - As a non iOS developer I am trying to build on Desktop, Android and iOS - I have all but iOS working (and wasmJS also works). I have updated to Mac OS (15.5), XCode (16.4). I have run XCode and created a test application and run the simulator. Then in Android Studio I have created a new sample KMP project. When I try to build for iOS, I get the error below - which means almost nothing to me being a windows person - any help would be great - Thank you - Andy P.S. Why is it so hard/unfriendly/off-putting to start with KMP - I would like to teach KMP but it just looks too unreliable...please tell me I'm wrong ;)

Just saw the preflight checks fails - which gives me an error but no help (as well)
Opened Xcode and opened simulator - re ran pre flight and it works this time - but no change in build error
It works - I had to change from 'iOS Device' to a specific device - chose iOS 16 Pro and rebuilt. Still same question 'why doesn't this work out of the box'? This is my third attempt in the last year - each time I gave up due to the pain...and the idea of getting students to do this is just frightening...

+1 vote to fix ;)

I think this is a more specific Jetbrains IDE / iOS anomaly that you just learn the hard way after repeatedly making the same mistake! Similar oddity exists in Rider when switching between iOS and Android devices during Xamarin development
