I am trying to create a keyboard. that requires me to impl InputMethodService(), and LifecycleOwner. But my app crashes when i try to open the keyboard on my phone with an exception saying `ViewTreeLifecycleOwner not found`

the log statement shows that `this` is indeed the viewtree lifecycleowner

ps. this is my first time using kotlin _and_ developing android apps, but not new to programming
