Anyone else updated the target SDK on store to 35, but message didn't disappear?

Update your target API level by 31 August 2025 to release updates to your app
We've detected that your app is targeting an old version of Android. To provide users with a safe and secure experience, Google Play requires all apps to meet target API level requirements.
From 31 August 2025, if your target API level is not within one year of the latest Android release, you won't be able to update your app.

We had this issue, and figured it out. Even a build in a test track (even Internal) will trigger this warning. If you have test tracks with old build you are not using, retire the track after removing testers and you should be good to go. Google removed the warning later same day.

@Chrimaeon I made the same mistake earlier. Is there an equivalent resource you can recommend for Android specific questions? The slack here is such a great community, would be amazing if there were something for Android

Try the links in the channel description. Google does not have a slack workspace.

You need to update all your apps, including those in internal, closed, and open testing tracks
