What are you guys’ opinions on SKIE? I couldn’t find a substitute for it but I didn’t find many project examples using it. Is it still a common practice right now?

I couldn’t find a substitute for it

There isn’t really a substitute for it, however, https://github.com/rickclephas/KMP-NativeCoroutines is a great project if SKIE doesn’t fit your needs.

Even as #C073GUW6WN9 matures, it will not be a substitute, but a companion to SKIE

I didn’t find many project examples using it

Searching github for “co.touchlab.skie” returns many interesting results https://github.com/search?q=%22co.touchlab.skie%22&type=code. Just on the first page I see

There are many closed-source projects using SKIE which you will of course not be able to find unless someone tells you.

Is it still a common practice right now?

According to our anonymous and optional analytics, there are over 6000 users compiling with SKIE during the past week. Of course we have no idea how many projects disabled the optional analytics.
