Hey everyone š,
I wanted to share something with you and hopefully get some thoughts and maybe even spark some interest from the community.
Back when I was working at
kredibel.com, I built a complete Liveness Detection SDK (and actually a bit more; it also covered parts of the KYC flow). The cool part is I built it completely myself, and since the company has now shut down, my former CEO very kindly transferred the IP rights over to me. So the entire source code is now legally mine.
That got me thinking: āWhy not open source it?ā
I believe it could be valuable for the community (especially for people working with identity verification or building fintech/legal/e-KYC-related apps). Right now the only limitation is that it's Android-only.
So⦠Iām looking for people who might be interested in turning it into a multi-platform library (Kotlin Multiplatform, maybe? š). Obviously that's a bit of workāand another challenge is sponsorship/fundingābecause, as you all know, building and maintaining something like this takes real time and real energy. š
In case you want to have a look, hereās the repo from the original implementation:

Would love to hear any feedback, ideas, or interest in collaborating. Even a small discussion would already mean a lot š
Cheers!
