However, this goes too far.
Make it free, if it's a "free gift".
Or say: "Hey, you get it in exchange for mail ads".
But this way is bad faith.

08/20/2025, 2:17 PMI can ask @Halina to make some reasonable change and ping you, but I feel that it does not diserve a critique to ask for an email for a content that is very hard to prepare. I honestly would feel much worse sharing an article behing paywall (like Medium paywall), what quite often happens, and I never do.

I don't know if sharing a public link to your website is "piracy". IANAL, but that doesn't clear that bar for me.
I'm glad that the wording of the post was changed. I also don't see a problem with posting such a link when it's public like that. If it was a reupload, maybe I'd view it differently.

I think the page complies with the rules: people have to explicitly opt in. The fact that the text is tiny is a separate issue.
