Does it need to be Youtube live for GSoC? If streaming is all you need, we can create a Zoom webinar link do the meeting + recording + Q&A and then you can export the video to youtube later.
o
Not necessarily. We can do 3 or Zoom. In fact, without a live stream, I have my own streaming tools The problem is that we still have no destination where to publish
For clarity purposes, the slightly edited response from the Kotlin Foundation Marketing Committee is below. We can upload the unlisted videos to YouTube and reference them, but not publish on the "Kotlin by JetBrains" channel. There is no separate Kotlin Foundation channel as of now
... it's risky to publish on the main Kotlin YouTube channel, as its audience is very different, so we risk to get lower engagement and give wrong signals to the algorithm, influencing future videos. As ... suggested, if you manage to add the videos on Gradle channel, we can promote them in the community posts section. We could upload them to our channel as unlisted and then create a YouTube community post referencing the unlisted video.
So we take option 3, unless we have a solution for the stream. Everyone is welcome to record a new demo video. Happy to help with a Zoom hosting too, if needed

Do we have deadline for the demo?

As we are not live streaming, there is no deadline
I mean, with a reasonable time frame. But I assume that people work on it after the evaluation submission

If anyone wants to send a demo video, let me know. Looks like I got ill and will skip a few days, but I should be able to work on the videos next week
