09/08/2025, 9:12 PMit depends on the $$ value that AI is giving you. if you think that the tool is not giving you more than $10 or $30/month then its probably not worth using it or even thinking about it bc its a micro optimization. especially if you're a part of an early stage startup
we aim to offer much more than 10x the value for our engineers that use the tool every day than whatever we charge. this means we need to save at least a few hours a month for this to make sense, and if we aren't saving you a few hours a month then you probably should not use it.
this heavily depends on how much you value your time and how much you yourself can charge for your time as well. it sounds like bc you're not getting paid for private work, then its probably not worth paying for things here. but from your employer's perspective it may be a no brainer (assuming that you save quite a lot of time/energy working on menial tasks). this heavily depends on your employer
