Hey Folks,

I'm looking for remote contract gigs.

Rivu Chakraborty here, my last job was as Principal Engineer at JioStar (JioCinema / Hotstar), India's biggest OTT player.

I have been in industry for over 13 years (mostly in Android), have been working with KMP for ~6 years, led KMP in JioStar with 200+ millions of users (on prod with KMP).

Prior that, I have worked with multiple other unicorns from India and South East Asia.

I'm also India's first GDE for Kotlin, and wrote multiple books on Kotlin.

I have been into Mobile/TVs primarily, but have experience working with Kotlin on backend and recently with AI (Koog) as well.

Currently working with a US based fitness startup which is in a very early stage, however as the contract is to be over soon, looking for new opportunities. Also open for permanent roles in India or Europe (with relocation and Visa support).
