Today is a good day!

Today is not a good day. Today is a great day!
Hmm, is there a way to refresh this? IDE restart did not do anything.
Oh, nevermind, seems that the new version is not available for Android Studio (2025.1.4 Canary 5) yet?
Ahh!
The backport to 2025.1 for Android Studio turns out to be impossible, unfortunately. It requires multiple changes to bundled functionality that are not present in Google's released version. We will release it as soon as the necessary changes from IntelliJ 2025.2.2 are picked up by Android Studio.

I don't see it available in Android Studio Otter | 2025.2.1 Canary 1, at all, though. ๐Ÿค”

Hi @sindrenm . We are waiting for an Android Studio version based on 2025.2.2.
s
Ahh, my bad, I misread the Otter version number, but I see it's still 2025.2.1. ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Thanks for clarifying!

In what way does Toolbox not understand AS versioning properly? We've been working quite a bit on fixing this.

It was quite a bit of bugs when the versioning scheme was changed, and when Toolbox showed new versions as old ones and suggested to update to older version I think now more or less it settled. I didn't see this problem probably from Narwal
