z
but why "spam" i just want knowledge share, and the post is correct
s
You posted a lot of messages in a row, so it's getting spammy.
a
I see a lot of em dashes in the posts. A tell tale sign of AI generated text

I tend to use a lot of en dashes when I write. Does that also make my writing look AI-generated, or is it only with em dashes?
z
no, they are try to look smart by saying everything is AI

@Klitos Kyriacou Em dashes are different. They are from typesetting in books and are not directly on the keyboard. A clear giveaway, for now, of LLMs trained on books
k
But en dashes aren't on keyboards either. I know what you mean though. Books tend to use em dashes. I find them a bit too wide for my liking.
s
Between you and me: If I revise my texts using AI I actually edit out the em-dashes afterwards, because I wouldn't make them myself and AI really love them.
So I don't want people to think that I'm AI 😄
a
Thats exactly what an AI would say… sus

The image is AI generated, why would second like would have an additional

Unless they didn't checked the code at all it's AI for me, also the grainy colors and slight yellow text is very common for GPT generated images

Ai ssays for big 👃 • “You don’t need to be involved in everything.” • “I think it’s best if you focus on your part.” • “Let’s stay in our lanes.” • “I appreciate your interest, but I’ve got this covered.” • “You really don’t miss a thing, do you?” • “You’ve got an opinion on everything, huh?” • “You should start charging for all that unsolicited advice.” • “Mind your own business.” • “Stay out of it.” • “Don’t poke your nose where it doesn’t belong.” • “Stop sticking your nose in everything.” • Don’t stick your nose where it doesn’t belong but i know non will work for big 👃

@Arjan van Wieringen en and em dashes are easy to type on a Mac keyboard. LLMs piss me off because I've always used en/em dashes in my writings, and now I need to be extra careful 😂

@romainguy no one write assemble because fear of shame of using kotlin high level language even thoese negative energy dashes , same as AI but negative energy as ghost for using ai as a helper util function, these bad people just see "-" and "_" in nice book
