how to properly log traces to a file? I tried the option in the documentation, but I may be missing something.. the code snippet in the thread 🧵
Copy code
install(Tracing) {
                // Configure message processors to handle trace events
                addMessageProcessor(TraceFeatureMessageLogWriter(logger))
                addMessageProcessor(TraceFeatureMessageFileWriter(
                    outputPath,
                    { path: Path -> SystemFileSystem.sink(path).buffered() }
                ))

            }
error:
Copy code
Argument type mismatch: actual type is 'java.nio.file.Path', but 'kotlinx.io.files.Path' was expected.

Hi @Yogeshvu , please checks the imports in the file. You’re using the Java’s Path, but the framework accepts the Kotlin one. The change of using “file” import should do the trick.

thanks.. I think the documentation(https://docs.koog.ai/tracing/) can be revised to use the following snippet:
Copy code
install(Tracing) {
                addMessageProcessor(writer)
                addMessageProcessor(TraceFeatureMessageFileWriter(
                    outputPath,
                    { path: kotlinx.io.files.Path -> SystemFileSystem.sink(path).buffered() }
                ))
            }
