testballoon TestBalloon releases 0.7.0 and 0.7.1 are out – the latest from your next-generation test framework that makes Kotlin testing 🌋 powerful, 🚀 blazingly fast, and ☺️ so easy:

✅️ State-of-the-art capabilities: Parameterized tests, multi-level hierarchy, coroutine context inheritance, deep parallelism, fixtures, expressive names, and a scope-friendly DSL-based API.
✅️ Deep native integration with the platforms' existing APIs and build tooling, using the familiar Gradle tasks and Kotlin's own platform-specific test runtimes.
✅️ Support for all Kotlin target platforms: JVM, JS, WebAssembly, Native (Linux, Windows, iOS, macOS and other Apple targets), Android local tests, Android device tests.

The 0.7.0/0.7.1 release set comes in 5 variants, which in combination support all Kotlin versions between from Kotlin 2.0.0 to 2.3.0-Beta2. Some migration will be required, which is covered in detail in the release notes. If you'd like to use Gradle 8 with TestBalloon for Kotlin >= 2.1.20, please use the 0.7.1 releases.

🤝 Thanks to @mbonnin, Gradle integration is now better than ever. A close cooperation with @Bernd Prünster and colleagues at A-SIT Plus has made intensive testing possible with real-world test sets of up to 2 million tests across the entire Kotlin Multiplatform (KGP+AGP) range.

Last, not least, there is now an extensive documentation site, which answers what TestBalloon can do for you, introduces its capabilities, and comes with a practical guide on effective testing.
