The architecture and the provided documentation looks pretty solid.

On the other hand I would suggest removing placeholder files, like the copy-pasted greeting tests and android/iosMain sourcesets that only contain the RemoveWhenNotNeeded file.

It is much easier to create these when needed, than ignoring/removing them at the beginning

Worth noting the term KMM was deprecated 2 and a half years ago - https://blog.jetbrains.com/kotlin/2023/07/update-on-the-name-of-kotlin-multiplatform/

Best to stick with the official naming KMP to avoid any ambiguity
