I’ve just released <https://github.com/maplibre/maplibre-compose/releases/tag/v0.12.0|v0.12.0 of MapLibre Compose>, a library for adding interactive vector maps to your Compose Multiplatform apps.

Highlights of this release:
• Made significant progress on filling in desktop support, especially around map controls and map state
• Added a location engine and location puck element
• Upgraded to <https://kotlinlang.slack.com/archives/C0BJ0GTE2/p1760424053129289|the new Spatial-K>
• Bug fixes
I’ve also added <https://maplibre.org/maplibre-compose/|a roadmap> to the docs. Check here to get an idea of the various projects on the road to a stable release. There’s a combination of shovel ready projects that just need code contributors, and projects requiring exploration that could use some research. Contributions are welcome in both realms!
