I'm trying Amper as part of a proof-of-concept together with Compose Multiplatform and kotlinx.rpc. For the RPC part I now run into the issue that the descriptors/metadata cannot be generated since I can't use the RPC compiler plugin. I noticed there is https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/AMPER-4470/kotlinx-rpc-compiler-plugin-support that mostly addresses my issue. Is there a hacky way to load compiler plugins in Amper, or not at all? Even manually specifying a version such as https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.jetbrains.kotlinx/kotlinx-rpc-compiler-plugin-k2/2.2.21-0.10.1 would be fine, I just want to demonstrate / try out if this setup is feasible for our next project. Or alternatively can I invoke Gradle from Amper to make it compile the metadata that way?

Unfortunately I don't see a workaround for this at the moment. It's no longer possible to delegate to Gradle for this stuff in Amper. We would need to implement proper support for 3rd party compiler plugins at least at the Amper level without IDE support (even better with IDE support).
