Hey multiplatform crew! I wanted to share a game I've been running on CMP. I built a full Roguelike Card Game RPG (Arcana) with 100% shared UI. I managed to get great performance by using sprite-sheets and tapping directly into the Compose drawing modifiers (
DrawScope
)
. I wrote up the 'Highs and Lows' of skipping a game engine to stay in the Kotlin ecosystem. I think it shows just how versatile the framework has become for visual-heavy projects! Checkout the tutorial video! More media can be found in the link below. Full Story: https://medium.com/p/c19c3fc6e310"

Very nice indeed. Since you emphasize the use of CMP, it would certainly not be too difficult to also offer a desktop and a web (WASM) version. That would clearly demonstrate all the possibilities of CMP ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‰.

Yes great point! I am working on the desktop version as well. Desktop is where the game truly shines! For Android and iOS optimization is a must but desktop is free from most constraints and has access to significantly more powerful GPUs and CPUs. I'll look into web as well - thank you for your suggestions! ๐Ÿ˜Š
