Anyone else is facing this error? from this morning when using git(command line or and other git client apps): "failed to connect to github.com port 443 after xxx ms" Last night I still can access Github, but now I can't anymore, maybe God want me to relax on Saturday?

Works fine, also https://www.githubstatus.com looks good.

GitHub is unavailable from time to time, that's nothing new. I guess Microsoft is starting to move it to Azure. 😄 Now that the Microsoft Azure Team is responsible for their operations I expect GitHub to break down eventually. Maybe it's time to sign up with GitLab 😄

Thank you, so it just my network, it happened again this morning and I still can't figure it out why was that.

Or codeberg if you're also looking to move away from US based data storage.

This's an enterprise github repo, so I've no choice. I asked some one my colleagues and they still can access to Github, so the problem is my network. But it's weird that this issue only raises recently.

Yeah, all good, but I was talking about the long run. Moving off GitHub may one day be necessary for a multitude of reasons.
I signed up with Codeberg, just to reserve my name for now. Looks like a nice project. Only issue is of course that GitHub Actions provides powerful macOS & Windows runners for free. I'll look into replacing those when I really need to.
