I'm trying to build a CMP app for iOS. I know X64 targets for iOS are no longer supported, so I've removed them from my targets. However, when I try to build from Android studio, I get the following build failure:
Execution failed for task ':composeApp:syncComposeResourcesForIos'.
> Unknown iOS simulator arch: 'x86_64'
However, building and running in xCode works fine. I'm not sure why that gradle task tries to build for targets I don't support. I do have libraries that haven't been updated that may support X64 targets. Could that be why its picked up?
I fixed this by explicitly removing the X^4 targets in xCode under build settings

Hi Tunji, I experienced the same issue, just on my CI/CD pipeline. I have logged a bug with the Kotlin/Native team. Thanks for reporting this! https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-84686/Removing-x64-in-gradle-file-breaks-builds-on-certain-platforms
