Features are certainly planned for the future (though right now, we're focusing on improving/cleaning up the APIs we already have). Regarding actors specifically: it's a tough problem. We consistently see interest in that feature, but most of it comes from people new to coroutines. In most cases, it turns out there is a viable coroutine-idiomatic approach already, and we'd obviously prefer our users to stick to that if possible! To introduce actors, we'd need to become proficient in them, isolate the user cases that coroutines don't cover well, and then introduce an API tailored to exactly that.
