🚀 Nucleus — Big update for the native desktop toolkit for Compose Desktop. ⚡ Energy Manager — Your app can now run in eco mode: background tasks (sync, indexing…) run on the CPU's efficient cores without slowing down the UI. You can also prevent the screen from sleeping during a video or presentation. 🪟 JNI Decorated Windows — New custom window engine, compatible with any JVM and GraalVM. Native fullscreen like Safari/Edge/Firefox with a sliding title bar on hover. Liquid Glass rounded corners on macOS 26 enabled automatically. No more white flash on resize on Windows. 📊 Taskbar Progress — Show a progress bar directly in the taskbar or dock, like when you copy a file in the file explorer. Works on Windows, macOS and Linux. 🎨 System Colors — Get the OS accent color and detect dark mode in real time. Enables Material You on desktop: the UI adapts instantly when the user changes theme or accent color. 🛠️ Simplified GraalVM Native — Compiling to native now works with almost no configuration. Almost all reflection metadata is bundled automatically. 🔄 Smart Updates — The updater now knows whether it's a patch or a major update, and detects the first launch after an update to show a "What's new" dialog. 📖 Docs: https://nucleus.kdroidfilter.com/

I've been using the jni decorator and it's been really good so far! I'm still seeing some pretty painful resizing issues though, sometimes it's super smooth but other times it will freeze up a ton while resizing. I'm not sure if that's "the way it is" for now for compose-desktop or if I'm doing something wrong.

@Pearce Keesling You need to open an issue specifying the platform, and if possible, include a screen recording.

Sure thing 👍

Thank you very much! On my roadmap, I would really like to create an API similar to Android's Workmanager.

I think it's really cool to be able to do that 😅

I ended up updating to the latest and we don't seem to have resize issues anymore. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think we need to open an issue anymore. Thanks for the awesome work on the library!

Yes, it's been improved 🙂, I think Nucleus is becoming more of a framework than a library, like Electron which reused Chrome and Node.js and provides native APIs to manage its app
