Hey everyone 👋

I wanted to share a KMP library I built for network inspection and mocking/throttling. It has websocket interception as well (which is probably first of its kind)

Everything is on device, no need of external proxies.

Currently supported integrations
• As a ktor plugin for android/ios/jvm
• As a okhttp interceptor for android/jvm
• A swift extension for URLSession through kmmbridge
Feel free to use it in your development builds (it has a noop for release as well)

Looking for some feedbacks on integration challenges, feature requests. Contributions are welcome too :)

Just shipped SSE (Server-Sent Events) inspection support in WiretapKMP as early preview for both Ktor and OkHttp clients 🎉

If you're streaming data over SSE, you can now inspect those streams alongside regular HTTP and WebSocket traffic, all at the HTTP client level, no proxy setup needed.

With this, WiretapKMP now covers HTTP + WebSocket + SSE across Android, iOS, and JVM Desktop from a single library.
It's still experimental and opt-in, so I'd love early feedback: what breaks, what feels off, what's missing. Issues, PRs, DMs all welcome 🙏
