Very true @dave Fortunately/unfortunately I work on near zero of those, but we also have a web framework that wraps vertx with no dependency on vertx itself, so we often watch things like this for an idea of what frameworks we might want to swap it for. Vertx complexity and some oddball apis have us looking to switch, but we aren't big fans of annotation based APIs so that reduces the options a bit as well.
