A bit random but is there a Material3 website with the Wear components and the UI images? I'm trying to revamp my app to material3 wear and as much as I see a lot of posts from google with the M3 elements I couldn't find where I can see the Images and the component names Something like this but for M3 wear: https://developer.android.com/design/ui/wear/guides/m2-5/components/buttons

Damn, was hoping this had them. But no images :( https://composables.com/components/wear-material-3-compose

Damn! That's super amazing! Thanks a lot! Do you know if there's a way to show all the images at same time? Most of it github hides so I need to manually click all of them to show the actual image
y
Yeah search for a GitHub show all bookmarklet
Some are funny sized, but for something vibe coded I didn't want to end up editing things. Hope it's useful enough with quirks
t
That worked! With this i see the Split Switch with would be perfect for my usecase. This is so helpful! Thank you again πŸ™πŸ½

@Alex Styl is there a way to attach previews to other design systems like wear on your site?
a
Let me check how complex that would be
Might have something. Will give you an update when I got something live
y
Ironically I see wear adding sample images in AndroidX. But there are other ones as well.
t
Damn, this looks amazing! Thanks a lot for providing this πŸ™πŸ½

Im happy to. Thanks for pinging me
Clueless what you folks need unless you ping me πŸ˜„
btw. if u have any preferences towards which design systems you need first, let me know. will do my best to do for all, but would help with prioritiziation
t
To be honest, it's sad that google themselves don't provide this ☠️ What do you mean by "design system"? Between wear m2 and m3 or something else?
a
composables.com/components lists every component in jetpack compose. wear and tv and all platforms etc I had the original material ones cause those were important to me, no idea if people needed the wear ones for example
basically is any of these important to you?
y
The wear one would be great

By coincidence, we have a lot of sample images that will be added soon to the developer website. You can see the first images here for DatePicker - https://developer.android.com/reference/kotlin/androidx/wear/compose/material3/DatePicker.composable

@stevebower why don't we have a components page for m3 like we have for m2.5?
s
Hi Tiago - please share a link to the page you're talking about for M2.5 and I'll raise it with the team.
t
This one from the top message where we have images, and all the details about it: https://developer.android.com/design/ui/wear/guides/m2-5/components/buttons
s
Thanks - I've asked the relevant team about it.
gratitude thank you 1
