Can someone from the JB please give a high level comment on how is CMP maintained in relation to the google Compose updates?

Is it a git fork? But it has different package so I assume syncing is not via git?

I'm not sure if the relevant repos are linked in there, but they're

• <https://github.com/JetBrains/compose-multiplatform>, where the CMP-only things live
• and <https://github.com/JetBrains/compose-multiplatform-core/>, which is a fork of AndroidX where that code is extended with support for additional platforms

so core is literal fork (androix imports), and updates are basically just `git merge androix/main`

and then CMP specifics are in the other module, which depends on core

Now `androidx` is huge - I'd be super curious how does a team do this? Git merge seems like a single person/computer job (I mean solving conflicts), right?

Or is there something smarter how to distribute the conflict resolution to the given package experts?
